TERMS AND CONDITIONS
CANCELLATION POLICY​
- By using our services you agree to the below cancellation policies and terms of use
- After ordering one of our tailored programmes, you have the option of cancelling your order within 36hrs of placing your order.
- After ordering one or more online coaching sessions or studio sessions with us, you can cancel and reschedule any session up to 36hrs before the original session date. This also applies to any sessions you wish to cancel outright. If you are cancelling your first session with us you will be fully refunded so long as you cancel at least 36hrs before the scheduled meeting. If you have bulk booked you will be refunded according to how many sessions you have remaining minus the sessions you have used. The sessions you have used will be treated as single sessions.
- 1 to 1 and couples private sessions must all be booked at least 36 hours before the start time of the session.
- If you order a 1 to 1 in person session or a couples session at the studio, you can cancel your session up to 36 hours before the session and the session can either be rescheduled or cancelled and you will be refunded if you have paid in advance online.

- Exceptions can be made to the above if there are reasons that are deemed fair and uncontrollable by you, however this is at the discretion of Fitthit and Jamie Hepworth
- Refunds will be paid when we receive your payment. This can take up to two weeks dependent on payment method used.
PAYMENT + DELIVERY
- Payments must be made at the time of purchase with a valid payment method. Once we have received your payment, your service will be processed and sent to you when ready (in the case of training programmes), or we will contact you to begin your Fitthit journey (in the case of Online and 1-2-1 coaching).
- Your purchase will not be processed until we have received payment in full (payment amount relevant to service cost).
- Once we have your payment we will process your purchase within the designated amount of time. If we fail to do so you will be refunded in full

Session Timeframes
Sessions have a time limit on how long they are valid for after purchase. This refers primarily to bulk purchases and the time frames are as follows

Training 1 session a week bulk purchase of 10 sessions - 11 weeks until expiration

Training 1 session a week bulk purchase of 5 sessions - 6 weeks

Training 2 sessions a week bulk purchase of 10 sessions - 6 weeks

Training 2 sessions a week bulk purchase of 5 sessions - 3 weeks

BOOTCAMPS, CLASSES & SELF DEFENCE CLASSES

Our bootcamps, classes and self defence classes are typically held in private spaces. The same terms and conditions apply for bootcamps, classes and self defence sessions as they do for all other sessions. This includes any of these sessions are held in a public space.
- If the bootcamps are held in a public space, we are not responsible for any injuries or harm you may sustain due to the poor maintenance of a public space or area.
- It is your responsibility to treat the hired facilities with respect, should you break or damage any property you are responsible.
​- Bootcamps, classes & self defence classes are booked as bulks with no cancellations for individual sessions throughout the bulk. This means that should you purchase 5 classes, you will be charged for the next 5 classes irrespective of how many you attend. This will take action after your first class session.

INFORMED CONSENT

The following information is relevant to your knowledge and understanding of what our programmes and training entail and the potential risks and benefits that are associated with said training. Whilst we will do our best to cater for your needs and any weaknesses, by agreeing to these terms and conditions you also agree to, and accept, that we accept no responsibility for any adverse effects that our training might have.

PROGRAMME OBJECTIVES
You understand that the purpose of our exercise programmes and coaching are to provide safe and individualised exercise to improve health and fitness. Exercises may include:
Cardiovascular machine activities - treadmill walking or jogging, rowing, upright or recumbent cycling, stair climbing and other such activities in outdoor environments. Resistance training activities using resistance machines, free weights or circuit training to improve muscular strength or endurance. Core and flexibility exercises to improve core stability and movement around the joints and range of motion
You understand that any and all physical contact is to ensure proper form and/or safety whilst performing exercises.

POTENTIAL RISKS
Our programmes and coaching are designed to place a gradually increasing workload on the cardiovascular and muscular systems and thereby improve their function. The reaction of the cardiovascular and muscular system to such exercise cannot always be predicted with complete accuracy. There is a risk of certain changes that might occur during or following the exercise. These changes could relate to blood pressure or heart rate.

POTENTIAL BENEFITS
You understand and accept that a programme of regular exercise has been shown to be beneficial. Some of these benefits include:
- A decrease in risk of heart disease
- A decrease in body fat
- Improved blood pressure
- Improvement in psychological function
- Improvement in aerobic fitness

By agreeing to these terms and conditions you also agree to the above statements and give your informed consent, acknowledging that the potential risks and rewards have been explained to you and your questions regarding the programmes and coaching have been answered to your satisfaction. You understand that you are free to withdraw at any time. The information obtained will be treated as private and confidential.

PAR-Q
The following questions are designed to ensure that you are fit for exercise and that partaking in fitness and/or nutritional changes won't pose a threat to your health.
For most people, physical activity should not pose a problem or hazard.
The PAR-Q has been designed to identify the small number of people for whom physical activity might be inappropriate or for those who should seek medical advice concerning the type of activity most suitable for them. Common sense is your best guide when answering these questions. If you answer YES to any of these questions, you should make this clear when filling out the required forms when ordering one of our services and outline the problems/barriers you face. If you answer YES to any of the below questions you should seek medical advice before undertaking any activity or altering your diet and we will require confirmation from a medical professional that you are fit to undertake physical exercise, as well as the level of activity you are permitted to take. If you answered YES to any of the dietary related questions then you should seek advice from a trained nutritionist/dietitian. We can only recommend food groups and meal relevant to their calorific content and macros, if you have any intolerance's or allergies you MUST speak to a professional before introducing any food groups into your diet that might pose a potential threat to your health. We are not medical practitioners or dietitians and as such we reserve the right to refuse our services to anyone that exercise/dietary changes may pose a threat to. We also accept no responsibility if you choose not to disclose the relevant information to us and suffer adverse effects as a result of using our services.

- 1. Has your doctor ever said that you have a heart condition and that you should only do
physical activity recommended by a doctor?
- 2. Do you feel pain in your chest when you do physical activity?
- 3. In the past month, have you had chest pain when you were not doing physical activity?
- 4. Do you lose your balance because of dizziness or do you ever lose consciousness?
- 5. Do you have a bone or joint problem (for example, back, knee or hip) that could be
made worse by a change in physical activity?
- 6. Is your doctor currently prescribing drugs (for example, water pills) for your blood
pressure or heart condition?
- 7. Do you know of any other reason why you should not do physical activity?
- 8. Do you have any food allergies or food intolerance's?
- 9. Have you ever had an allergic reaction to food or drink?
If you have answered YES to any of the above questions, then you are required to gain consent from your doctor before participating in the personal training programme.
If you have answered NO to all of the above questions and you have reasonable assurance of your suitability for:
A personal training programme – which will include; a personalised progressive programme designed around your needs and short, medium and long-term goals. The programme will work all components of physical fitness and use the principles of training to ensure it is a gradual periodic programme of exercise and physical activity.
You are advised to postpone entry into the programme if you feel unwell or have a temporary illness. You must inform your personal trainer of any changes to your health status, whilst engaged in your training programme.

You understand that the Fitthit gym is a privately owned gym space and studio and isn't subject to the same safety checks and regulations that a commercial gym is. We will teach and guide you how best to avoid injury and perform any exercises we prescribe for you, however injuries can and do happen. This is also the case for self defence training which can bring with it a higher chance of injury given the nature of the training.
2. You understand and accept that Fitthit and its' staff are not responsible for any injuries you sustain whilst using our equipment a within one of our facilities or outside of our facilities. Physical training and the use of gym and exercise equipment will always carry an inherent risk to your health and well-being, should an accident happen. We will do our best to ensure you are safe and using our spaces and equipment properly, however you understand that accidents can happen and we are not liable should you sustain injury as a result of an accident within our gym and/or as a result of a piece of our equipment.
3. You understand and accept that a gym can be a hazardous place and whilst we will do our best to remove all hazards it is up to you as an individual to take due care and responsibility whilst in one of our facilities and using our equipment. We accept no responsibility for any injuries you incur as a result of training or an accident.

PERSONAL SPACE AND PHYSICAL CONTACT
1. You understand and accept that as a coach and instructor, physical contact may be necessary to help guide you as to the correct techniques for certain exercises and to ensure the safe practice of exercises.
Where self defence is concerned you understand that physical contact is necessary during demonstrations and practicing techniques. This also includes contact with other clients as well as the coach.

COVID-19 AND DISEASE CONTROL
1. You acknowledge and accept that as with any public space, the Fitthit studio is subject to use by multiple persons and that whilst we maintain a high level of cleanliness and take a great deal of care in cleaning and sterilising the studio space and the equipment found within, as with any public space there is an inherent risk that traces of any illness or disease may be present. You accept that by entering the premises and training at the Fitthit studio, you put yourself at risk.
2. You declare that you do not have any symptoms in line with any harmful and/or infectious diseases. You understand that failure to declare any symptoms before entering the Fitthit studio or training outdoors leaves you legally liable should another client or trainer fall ill. By not declaring your illness legal action can be taken against you by Fitthit and the clients you put at risk.
3. We operate a zero tolerance to anyone who breaches any of our rules. If you exhibit any symptoms of any illness we decide to be dangerous or putting us and our clients at risk, we reserve the right to ask you to leave our premises. Failure to do so will lead to legal action.
